“The Supreme Court twice has affirmed the constitutionality of the Affordable Care Act. More than 16 million Americans—including 3 million Californians—have health insurance because of the law. And polling shows that 86 percent of Americans with coverage under the law are satisfied with it.
“It’s a shame that Republicans are wasting time on yet another attempt to repeal this law. By every measure this law is working. Medicare is stronger, health care costs are growing at the slowest rate in decades and millions who had no insurance are now covered. Efforts to repeal this law need to stop.”
