February 26, 2023 - American Red Cross officials report the Red Cross evacuation center is open at Oakhurst Community Center (39800 Fresno Flats Rd, Oakhurst, CA 93644) for those impacted by power outages throughout Madera County.

Red Cross volunteers are assisting with snacks, water, coffee, safe shelter and additional resources.

Residents are encouraged to visit for safe refuge, as well as a place to warm up and charge electronics.
