February 27, 2023 – Mariposa County Unified School District officials announce Tuesday, February 28th through Wednesday, March 1st, 2023, all MCUSD school sites will observe a Snow Day.

Good Afternoon MCUSD Staff and Families,

Tuesday, February 28th through Wednesday, March 1st, 2023, all MCUSD school sites will observe a Snow Day.

This decision has been made as the Winter Storm continues to be unpredictable and the National Weather Service (NWS) is predicting blizzard conditions. NWS is also anticipating that hazardous conditions that will make travel very difficult to impossible.

Many areas throughout Mariposa County continue to be heavily impacted by snow accumulation, power outages, and road restrictions requiring four-wheel drive and/or chains.

Please check your county and state transportation websites for current road conditions and restrictions prior to travel.
