March 22, 2024 - Mariposa County Health & Human Services offers information to help events run smoothly.

Spring is in the air, summer is on its way, and people are having fun outside!

If there is food at your event and it is open to the public or will be selling tickets to attend, you will need to get a temporary food facility permit from Mariposa County Environmental Health.

Selling food, giving food away, potlucks and fundraisers, and cook-offs and contests all require permits for food booths. Private events such as weddings do not require a food permit.

If event has more than one vendor:

Community Event Organizer Application needs to be completed. This shows lay out of the event and which vendors will be there. Each vendor then needs to submit a Community Event Food Vendor Application for their booth.

Please review the Temporary Food Facility Guidelines for food booth requirements: www.mariposacounty.org/447/Food-Facilities.
