February 2, 2016 - MCFB Farm Workers Children Scholarship & Application Information
Each year the Merced County Farm Bureau will offer $1000 and/or $500 scholarships to students attending any accredited university, community college or trade school.
WHO MAY APPLY
This scholarship is available to Merced County high school seniors graduating in 2016. Only the children of farm employees, not related to the business, currently employed in the farm industry are eligible for this scholarship. Applicants must have a Grade Point Average of 2.5 or better. Applicants may have any major of study at an accredited institution. Scholarships are not renewable.Deadline is Friday, February 5, 2016
HOW THE SELECTION IS MADE
Scholarships are awarded by the Merced County Farm Bureau Scholarship Committee. Selection is based on performance, need, aptitude, and commitment to family and their community.
