The Catheys Valley SweetART Dinner held Saturday, February 6, 2016 from 5-8 PM at McCay Hall in Catheys Valley Park for the benefit of Sierra Foothill Charter School was a huge success.

The Hall was beautifully decorated with student artwork. Front tables lined with a wide assortment of desserts for the auction greeted attendees as they entered, as did student made note cards and artwork.

Guests enjoyed a buffet dinner that included garlic bread, three types of pastas, salad, and a wide variety of meat and roasted vegetable toppings and sides. Beverages included an organic lemonade with honey, plus a variety of beers and wines for interested adults.

There were a number of exciting battles of bidding during the dessert auction. The most exciting ended with long time Catheys Valley community member Ann Shelton (Granny Annie) winning a cheesecake made by Sarah Sinclair with a bid of $420! SFCS thanks Mrs. Shelton for her generous donation!
