During April 2016, 540 residents were unemployed. A drop of 5.3% from April 2015 when 570 residents were unemployed.
The Leisure and Hospitality industry with 1,990 workers during April 2016 employed 290 additional workers (17.1%) from March 2016. Compared to April 2015 the Leisure and Hospitality industry employed 30 fewer workers (-1.5%) when the industry employed 2,020 workers.
The Government employed .5% more workers during April 2016 (1,850) than in April 2015 when 1,840 people were employed in Government jobs.

Construction employment in April 2016 increased 6.7% from April 2015 as now 160 residents are employed compared to 150 employees in April 2015.
The Civilian Labor Force came in at 7,710 during April 2016. The Labor Force decreased by 130 residents (-1.7%) from April 2015 when the Labor Force was at 7,840.
There were 7,170 employees in the county during April 2016, a decrease of 100 employees in the county over April 2015 when 7,270 residents were working in the county. That results in a year to year decrease of 1.4%.
