The Veterans of Foreign Wars, Keith M. Bertken, Post 6042, Memorial Day Ceremony was held on Saturday, May 26, 2012. Before the ceremony a parade starting at the Mariposa Visitors Center located at the intersections of Highway 140 and 49 North made it's way North on the 49, turning left on Joe Howard Street and marched into the Mariposa Cemetery.  The Mariposa County Sheriff's Department Color Guard were the leaders of the parade with the Mariposa County High School Band taking the rear position in the parade.

The band played a few different selections of music including the Armed Forces Salute.
