This arrest was the culmination of several months of investigation into crimes which occurred years earlier and were just recently reported.Mr. Wright is employed by the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation and most recently served as the Associate Warden at Central California Women’s Facility.
The crimes investigated are not related to his position at the prison and there is no evidence that he committed any crimes at the prison.
Travis Wright was taken into custody without incident during a vehicle stop this morning.
He will be booked into the Madera County Department of Corrections for several sex related offenses.
