Music on the Green - brought to you by The Mariposa County Arts Council and its many fine sponsors – continues into the 2016 season, presenting live in concert: B. Natural on Friday, July 29, and The Skylights on Saturday, July 30, 2016.
B. Natural
Based in Mariposa, B.Natural makes their debut on the Art Park Stage, playing an eclectic and wide-ranging mix of well-loved covers and original songs in the genres of Contemporary Folk, Pop, Jazz standards, Classical, and Country. Arrangements feature rich vocal harmonies expertly backed – one of the players, a member of the Mariposa Symphony Orchestra - by guitar, bass, cello, and mandolin, making for a kind chamber orchestral experience.
The Skylights
The Skylights are an alternative rock group out of the Merced area, returning to the Art Park Stage after their successful debut in 2013, and a stunning performance in 2014. The band - featuring a powerful female vocalist - will be performing the original, hard rock music that won the audience over those previous years, as well as showcasing new material. The young people that make up this band each have years of experience performing and recording throughout the Central Valley.

All performances begin at 7 p.m. at the Mariposa County Art Park, located on Hwy. 140, between 4th and 5th Streets, in historic downtown Mariposa, CA. Free parking on 5th Street along the Creek Walkway to the Park, also providing handicapped access.
The shows are free to the public – tips for the performers will be solicited, encouraged, and appreciated.
