The Mariposa 4-H Youth Development Program will have a 4-H enrollment day on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at the Mariposa Arts Park.  October 1 will begin the new 2014-2015 4-H program year and 4-H sign-ups will take place this day from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.  Youth ages 5-18 by December 31, 2014 can enroll and also adults who would like to share their talents with our local youth.  We are looking for mentors in areas of fishing, computers, welding, biking, Marine Biology, woodworking, basket weaving and more.  Adults need to go through a new leader orientation, be fingerprinted, and be approved by the county director before having meetings with youth.

For current 4-H members and leaders Wednesday, October 1 is the deadline for re-enrollment and for new members the deadline is Saturday, November 1.  Enrollment fee for the 2014-15 program year will be $34 for youth and $15 for adult volunteers.  Make checks payable to UC Regents.
