October 22, 2016 - The Tuolumne County Sheriff Department is asking for your help identifying a man and a woman responsible for theft at the Shimmick Construction Site in Groveland where an air acetylene gas tank was stolen.

After a previous burglary at the site, several trail cameras were set up on the property. On Wednesday, October 19th the business owner checked the cameras. Surveillance footage recorded on the previous day, showed a tan GMC Yukon SUV drive onto the property. A man and woman with a black and white dog look around the site and then take a black gas tank and leave in their vehicle. 
The male subject was wearing brown boots, blue jeans, a dark shirt, and red/white hat, and the woman was wearing gray sweatpants and a green sweatshirt.

A records check of the license plate on the vehicle comes back as a 2005 four door Cadillac which is inconsistent with the make and model of the vehicle at the scene.

The SUV may be out of the Mariposa County area.
