California Drought: Climate Prediction Center Forecasts Northern California to Probably Remain Drier Than Normal Through the End of 2014

September 18, 2014 - National Weather Service: The latest 90-day outlook from the Climate Prediction Center indicates that temperatures will continue to run above normal throughout the Golden State through the end of this year. Southern California has a good chance of being wetter than normal from October through December while Northern California will probably remain drier than normal.
