The 25th Annual Children’s Fair will be held on Saturday, September 27^th from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Mariposa County Park. The event is sponsored by Infant/Child Enrichment Services, Inc. (ICES), who, along with other agencies, childcare centers, and licensed family child care providers, will be offering fun, free activities.

Children attending should bring their bike to participate in the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Department bike rodeo.

Just a few highlights of this year’s event will include martial arts demonstrations provided by Mariposa Martial Arts Academy, child fingerprinting conducted by SCOPE, woodworking, play dough art, bubbles,  and face painting.  Officer Steven Lewis from the California Highway Patrol will be on hand with child passenger safety information.  There will be a variety of games, as well as other art and craft activities geared towards children ages one through twelve.  Music will be provided by “The Sound Man” and snack foods will be available for a small price.

Sierra Telephone has once again generously donated free books for children who attend the fair, and Belle, the Balloon-A-Twister, will be there creating balloon sculptures.
