March 17, 2017 - The Mariposa County Health Department reports a skunk has tested positive for rabies in the Granite Springs area of Lake Don Pedro.

This is a good reminder to make sure your domestic animals have been vaccinated against rabies. 

A low cost Rabies vaccination clinic is being held on Sat. 3/18/17 from 12:00 pm..– 3:00 p.m. at the Mariposa County Fair Grounds.

An additional clinic is being held on Sat. 4/1/17 from 10:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. in Coulterville at the county yard.
