2014 Holiday DinnerCoulterville Christmas Dinner Needs Volunteers Now!

While Christmas in Coulterville, scheduled for the third Saturday of December, is over half a year away, the Coulterville Community Club needs a minimum of 3 volunteers to step up to the plate NOW and commit to coordinating and planning the Holiday Dinner, a cornerstone of the happy, family oriented day.

The same two or three people have coordinated the dinner for the past 5 years.  Yes, we always have lots of volunteers on dinner day, but if a few volunteers don’t step up and take charge NOW, just like the vanishing Easter Egg Hunt, this year’s dinner will not happen.  This 30+ year tradition will bite the dust and just be another piece of Coulterville’s history.  The roles are not that time consuming and seeing how many folks enjoy the festive gathering is heartwarming…it’s simply time to “pass the baton.” The folks that have picked up the organization each year are not disappearing and will be available to provide background information and support.  If you would be interested in stepping up and taking this on, please come to the CCC board meeting scheduled for Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 7 p.m. at the Old School House.  If another organization to which you belong would like to take over or co-organize, please send a representative to this critically important meeting.  Please call me, Mike Kambeitz, CCC president at (209) 658-0150 or Dale Silverman at (209) 878-3750 and let us know if you plan to attend, even if only to get more information.  If the date/time of the meeting is not convenient, please call anyway.

Coulterville has lost a lot of folks this year, let’s not also loose this holiday community gathering.
