The Mariposa Museum and History Center will be hosting their annual Open House during Butterfly Days on Saturday, May 6, 2017 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.  All exhibits and venues will be open to the public.  Admission is free.

The 5-Stamp Mill is slated to run hourly. There will be other live demonstrations including gold panning, blacksmithing, a functioning early combustion engine, and various local crafters and artisans will be demonstrating their talents in basketry, beading, spinning, wood carving and more.  Visitors may see the progress being made on the new Yosemite Valley Railroad Exhibit, including a diorama from a local railroad modeling club.

The Chamber of Commerce trolley route will include a dedicated stop to transport people from downtown to the history center.
