April 27, 2017 - After a series of poetry readings and events in April in observance of National Poetry Month, Merced College will conclude its celebration of poetry with a poetry slam on Thursday, May 4 from 4:00 P.M. to - 6:00 P.M.  

The event is free and open to the public.

The event, sponsored by the Associated Students of Merced College and the Learning Resources Center, will be held at the Administration Building amphitheater on the Merced campus. 

Prizes include a $100 Amazon gift card for the first place winner, and $50 gift cards for second and third place winners.
