September 29, 2014 - Madera County Sheriff Deputies arrested James Martin Salsgiver, 58, late this afternoon at a gas station in Coarsegold. He is accused of repeatedly abusing a child.
The Sheriff’s Office is not releasing details about this case in order to protect the victim but Sheriff John Anderson said the suspect and the victim knew each other.
Salsgiver is facing multiple counts of sexual molestation. His bail set at $2,000,000 dollars.
