September 30, 2014 - The Madera County Sheriff’s office is asking for assistance in locating as many as 5 men who broke into a home in rural Madera County this afternoon. A marijuana crop was their intended target.
At approximately 1:28 PM, the Sheriff’s office received word of a home invasion on Avenue 6 near Road 20.
A white sedan (unknown make) with 4 to 5 subjects, wearing dark colored clothes and hoods, stormed the residence. One person inside the residence was assaulted.
The suspects used a Small U-Haul truck to cart away the marijuana.
