NMCHC BkfstNorthern Mariposa County History Center Breakfast

Come enjoy eggs cooked to order, all-you-can-eat pancakes, ham or sausage and fruit at the NMCHC Community Breakfast on Sunday, June 11th, 2017.  Breakfast remains a great value at just $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for children and $15.00 for a family of four (2 adults, 2 children).  The Old School House, at the corner of Cemetery St. and Broadway in Coulterville is easy to find, has ample parking and will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  Fun raffle prizes and a free breakfast drawing every month.  Help out at this monthly fundraiser.  We need a few regular helpers on clean-up!  If you can spare two hours a month, between 10:00 a.m. and 12 noon, on the 2nd Sunday on every month, we'd sure appreciate it.  Leave a message at the museum with your contact information, 209-878-3015.

The NMCHC was established as a 501c3 charitable organization in 1976 with the History Center opening to the public in 1980.  Visited by thousands each year, including international travelers from around the world, the various displays and photos provide an authentic glimpse of the life and times of the pioneers who helped settle the area in the early 1800’s and those who traveled west during the 1849 California gold rush.  Memberships and volunteer opportunities are available.  Call (209) 878-3015 for more information.  The museum is open Thursday through Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; special holiday open hours are scheduled for the Independence Day 4-day weekend, with the museum open Monday, July 3rd & Tuesday, July 4th!
