October 1, 2014 - WASHINGTON – RNC Chairman Reince Priebus and Co-Chairman Sharon Day released the following statement on today’s ObamaCare anniversary:

“One year ago, the ObamaCare exchanges opened and Healthcare.gov went live in a disastrous rollout,” said RNC Chairman Reince Priebus.

“ObamaCare is as unpopular as ever. This law is still hurting our nation as it has increased the cost of healthcare and limited options for doctors. Americans are bracing for a rise in their premiums years after the president promised that ObamaCare would save families $2,500 by the end of his first term. Numerous families have had their plans cancelled, and more cancellations are to come.”

“Democrats everywhere are distancing themselves from the president’s healthcare reform, pretending they want to fix it even though they already had the chance and didn’t,” said RNC Co-Chairman Sharon Day. “The American people deserve better, and this anniversary serves as an important reminder to hold the Democrats who voted for it accountable this November.”
