Supervisor Lyle Turpin mentions dipping into funds last year and if those funds will be fulfilled this year? $250,000 was from the $2,000,000 that was set aside years ago for the pension obligations bonds (POB) plus $180,000 was reduced from Vehicle Replacement charges to balance the budget last year. That totals $430,000. Still owe $150,000 to the Tobacco Settlement Fund for the FICA issue last year. She does not support deferring the fire truck replacement vehicle fund, that Golden State has already cautioned the county that 25 years may be to long for replacement and that the CAO's depreciation chart is at 27 or 28 years for the vehicles.
