Kiwanis Club Of Mariposa To Host 2012 Annual 4th Of July Celebration

 

The Kiwanis Club of Mariposa will be hosting the 18th annual 4th of July Celebration on July 4th at the Mariposa County Fairgrounds. The grandstand opens at 7:00 p.m., with the fireworks show starting as soon as the sun sets. Admission to the fireworks display is $6.00 per person; children under 10 are free. For those wanting to make a day of it, free fun for the entire family begins at noon with games, music, bounce house, water slide and a "foam" booth. Food vendors will also be available.

The celebration is less than a month away. The Kiwanis Club is selling tickets for a riding mower and various other prizes which will be raffled off during the fireworks. Tickets for the riding mower may be purchased from any Kiwanian, at Triangle Market, Yosemite Bank and Mariposa Shipping. To reserve a vendor booth space, purchase a riding mower ticket, or to buy advertising in this year's program, please call Helen Kwalwasser at Triangle Market, 742-7354.
