Martinez revenue comes up short
A bonus pot of money from billboard ads has been delayed due to a dispute over landscaping. The billboard stands just south of the Benicia-Martinez bridge toll plaza on Bridgehead Road, which runs along the west side of Interstate 680. CBS Outdoor Inc., which owns the billboard, wants to replace it with a LED sign. Under an agreement reached with the city last year, Martinez will get free advertising space on the billboard and 11 percent of the ad revenue, estimated at $120,000 to $160,000 per year.

Yosemite National Park Traffic Forecast for the Week of June 28 to July 4, 2012
In general, traffic congestion is worst on weekends from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; however in Yosemite Valley, Wawona, and the Mariposa Grove, heavy traffic can be expected seven days a week between 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Regardless of which area of the park you're heading to, it's best to arrive before 9 a.m. to avoid delays.

Mariposa County Judges Insist the Mariposa County Supervisors Take Care of the Historic Courthouse (With Audio)
Judge Walton said he wishes they were not here under these circumstances and that the agenda item was a misnomer, this is not about possible courthouse improvements, this is about urgent and immediate needs for public safety. They have been asking for four years for these issues to be dealt with. They are not asking anymore they are insisting, it has come to that point. Judge Walton said they will probably have to relocate for over a year and they need time to plan the move and if it becomes an extended process they may not return.
