Mostly sunny today with a high temp of around 95 degrees with a low tonight of 67 degrees. Yosemite/Sierra has a 30% chance of showers/T-storms today. Yesterday's high temp topped out at 98.0 degrees, 2.4 degrees cooler than Thursday. The low temp yesterday came in at 74.6 degrees. Sunday's high temp cools off to around 90 degrees with mostly sunny skies for Mariposa. Yosemite/Sierra has a 20% chance of showers and T-storms on Sunday.

SFCS-Jim-and-Mike-AllenJim and Mile Allen of Jim Allen Plumbing stand with students Mikey Owens, Emily Cordero, Montana Phillips, Jayden Philips, and Bradlie Teixeira. Jim and Mike had come earlier to survey the project, determine what the students needed and what they could donate. They then returned to hook up the irrigation with student help. In all they donated over eight hours of work, PVC pipe and fittings, and the brass check valve. The irrigation system now allows manual choice of stored rain water or, as needed, well water for Learning Garden and Native Plant Area irrigation. The rain water storage tanks are full and ready for students to begin irrigating.
