A rainy Saturday morning, December 18, 2010 could not stop the 2010 Coulterville Christmas Parade as Santa arrived in a Coulterville Fire Truck waving to the crowd. Mrs. Santa Claus was also in a fire truck along with a Christmas Elf in another truck. After the parade everyone gathered in front of the Coulterville Fire Station waiting to get inside for hot chocolate, cookies and a personal meeting with Santa and Mrs. Claus. The Coulterville Community Club had their Annual Holiday Community Dinner that was attended by hundreds of residents from all over the north county. The dinner featured both roast turkey and ham, mashed and candied sweet potatoes and all of the other trimmings along with plenty of deserts. Over at the Odd Fellows Hall the Rebekah’s Christmas was taking place with fabulous Christmas Trees & Wreaths that were donated by local clubs and organizations. There was a Christmas Gift Shop, that featured gently used items, new craft and boutique items and a variety of baked goods. One could also purchase a Mystery Box that was guaranteed a gift worth at least the purchase price if not more.
