Mariposa Soroptomist's Christmas Craft Show 2010

The 2010 Mariposa Soroptimist's Christmas Craft Fair was held at the Mariposa County Fairgrounds on December 3-4, 2010. The buildings were full of vendors, over 75, with even a couple of vendors set up outside. The local residents along with tourists attended the event to see all the wonderful handcrafted items that were available for purchase. Among the many items you could purchase was jewelry, even the Mariposa4-H had handcrafted jewelry for sale, leather goods, wreaths, purses, wooden hummingbird feeders, pottery, Christmas ornaments, candy, items created from metal, BBQ mixes and whimsical hand painted gourds.

The raffles kept everyone excited as they listened for their number to be called. There were pulled pork sandwiches along with other items for those who built up an appetite as they browsed around the two buildings. As the show came to an end on Sunday afternoon, the vendors we talked with said it was a good show for them and they will definitely be back next year.
