Congressional Website Award Reflects Efforts to Stay in Touch with Constituents
Radanovich (R-Mariposa) made the following statement after receiving a Congressional Gold Mouse Award for his Congressional website at www.radanovich.house.gov. With an A+ score of 96 out of 100 possible points, the website was awarded second place among Republican members of Congress, and fifth overall out of 439 members of the House of Representatives.
“I was pleased to see that my Congressional website was recognized with such distinction. It is always my priority to be accessible to my constituents in the 19th district. Through this website, constituents are able to contact me directly in a quick and effective manner, as well as find out what I am working on at the moment, and see my speeches in Committee and on the House floor.
“I am committed to keeping up with the latest technology in terms of website capabilities, and communications through Facebook and Twitter accounts. I want to be there for my constituents, just as they are always available to me when I conduct town halls, telephone town hall meetings, and when I get to speak to people out in the district about their needs and concerns. I am always just a few clicks away at my website. I thank all of you who have used this means of communication, because your use has helped us perfect the design to make it as user friendly and informative as possible.”

I find it laughable that our Congressman has recieved an award for his web site! I have emailed many timesand have NEVER gotten an appropriate response. Response was ,thank you for your interest,we will look into this and contact you.OR ,a monthly form letter synopsis of what he is doing i DC.Usually nothing! In asking about having a town hall meeting,no reply! The only time George came back to his district was to attend a meeting with big agriculture,or a Republican party fund raiser.I have talked to his reps at the library,to no avail. I gave them written requests for his opinions on different concerns,no response or a copy of the monthly news letter, which had no mention of any of my concerns.I consider his pledge to only serve five terms,as a breach of contract and a broken promise.
