outdoor skating rink in the heart of Yosemite Valley.

The Yosemite Renaissance 34 reception and award ceremony will be held at the
Yosemite Museum Gallery on Friday, February 22 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. 
The exhibit will be on display in Yosemite through May 5th, and then travels to
Kings Art Center in Hanford, Carnegie Arts Center in Turlock, and Gallery 5 Oakhurst.

Yosemite Western Artists Presents - Art Demo & Potluck

James Osteen is an assemblage artist utilizing discarded or outdated vintage
metal pieces, wood and clay to make his sculptures.

Many of his works reflect his love of 50s and 60s sci-fi, Robots, and Steampunk.
The Steampunk pieces have included masks, helmets, prop ray guns and unique lamps.

He will be doing a demonstration of the final assembly on a stainless steel and chrome
robot, combining various parts including teapot, candlesticks, and sink drains.

There’s a brief general meeting, a potluck lunch, and wraps up with demonstration.

Please bring a potluck dish to share.
