Habitat for Humanity of Mariposa County will be holding its annual Dining-Out event in conjunction with World Habitat Day and Habitat Awareness Week Saturday, September 30 through Saturday, October 7, 2017.  Habitat affiliates around the nation and the world will be celebrating safe, decent, affordable housing efforts in a variety of ways.

Locally, thirteen restaurants have offered to participate in the fundraiser this year and are kindly offering Habitat 10% of their proceeds on one or two days during the event.  Steve’s Sportsmans Café is again offering 20% of his proceeds on two days.  Castillo’s Restaurant and High Country Health Foods and Cafe are also participating on two days.  Habitat appreciates the generosity of all thirteen restaurants participating in this year’s event. 

The funds raised this year from the event will go toward Habitat’s fourth and fifth partner family homes which will be built on property Habitat has acquired in the Mariposa town area. 

The public is invited to have an enjoyable dining-out experience and support the following restaurants and Mariposa Habitat during this event.
