Please joinHabitat for Humanity of Mariposa County for their annual Dining-Out event in conjunction with World Habitat Day and Habitat Awareness Week Sunday, September 30 through Sunday, October 7, 2018.  Habitat affiliates around the nation and the world will be celebrating safe, decent, affordable housing efforts in a variety of ways.  Your participation can result in a “win-win” for local restaurants and Habitat for Humanity of Mariposa County!!

Locally, eleven restaurants have offered to participate in the fundraiser this year and are kindly offering Habitat 10% of their proceeds on one or two days during the event.  Castillo’s Restaurant and High Country Health Foods and Cafe are participating on two days.  Steve’s Sportsman Café is again offering 20% of his proceeds on two days.  Habitat appreciates the generosity of all eleven restaurants participating in this year’s event. 

The funds raised this year from the event will go toward Habitat’s fifth partner family home which will be built on property Habitat has acquired in the Mariposa town area.

We are very grateful to these restaurants for their offer of 10% of their proceeds on one or two days during the event—especially since many of them had a difficult time during the Ferguson Fire. Show your support by dining out!  Habitat thanks you, too!
