JCF lady leprechaun
March 5, 2019 - One lucky adult and one lucky child will go home with a prize the night of the St. Patrick’s Party on Saturday, March 16. Just show up dressed as your representation of a leprechaun, and you could be that lucky person.

That’s just part of the fun that will be happening at the Mariposa Fairgrounds, with doors opening at 6:00 P.M. Charlie Wildt will strum some tunes, the Bootjack Stompers will bust some moves, and everyone’s favorite DJ, Mark Carpenter, will spin dance music until the later hours. A free photo booth will be set up and you can take home all your funny photos.

A corned beef dinner (vegetarian option offered), dancing, a full no host bar with specialty drinks like Irish Coffee and Bailey’s Irish Cream will be on tap.

All kinds of gift baskets will be auctioned off and big-ticket items include a whitewater trip on the mighty Merced River from Zephyr Whitewater, and a family ticket pack from Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad.

This is the second annual St. Patrick’s Day party, sponsored by the Fremont Hospital Foundation. Last year tickets sold out and many people were disappointed they couldn’t get in. Don’t delay this year. Tickets, $25 for adults and $15 for kids, are available at Pony Express in the 49er Shopping Center, the Chamber of Commerce at the corner of Hwy 140 and 49, and the Business Office at Fremont Hospital (in the back of the property). You can also get them online by clicking here: Eventbrite.com. Just look for JCF Hospital Foundation St. Patrick’s Day Party.
