Gold Rush Art Show and Sale

October 2 - The Sierra Artists’ Gallery of Mariposa is pleased to announce the 23rd Annual Gold Rush Art Show and Sale during this 50th year of bringing regional artists to the Sierra community.
All artists over 18 are invited to participate by submitting their original artistic expression This is an open juried exhibit and entries must be submitted October 17-19 at the gallery.

There will be cash awards in each of the 5 medium categories, Oil/Acrylic, Watercolor, Photography, and Pastel/Colored Pencil in any appropriate subject. The 5th category is new this year and called “Specialty”. This includes all other art form, such as sculpture, fiber art, collage, mixed media, jewelry, carving, etc. Its goal is to accept and welcome the wide variety, diverse media that may be limited or unique in its execution.
An awards reception is held for all artists and community on Sunday, November 3rd, where “Best of Show” and the very popular “People’s Choice” are also recognized.
