Miwuk Screening Sold Out - 2nd Screening Scheduled 

January 30, 2020 - The Saturday, February 8, at 6:00 P.M. screening of the new documentary, “Miwuk” at the Mariposa County High School sold out Monday afternoon at the Mariposa Visitor Center and on Eventbrite.com.  This was exactly 20 days after the tickets went on sale and two weeks before the greatly anticipated film premiers.

A second screening of “Miwuk” has now been scheduled for 4:00 P.M. on the same day, Saturday February 8, 2020 at the Mariposa County High School Auditorium. Tickets for the 4:00 P.M. showing are on sale now at the Mariposa Visitor Center and at Eventbrite.com.  

7 people share a rare glimpse into life growing up Miwuk. Some of the stories are heartwarming and some will surprise you.  The screening includes a discussion period with members of the Miwuk Nation. 

The “Miwuk” screening is being sponsored by The American Indian Council of Mariposa County.
