October 19, 2021 - In honor of Veterans Day, The Rotary Club of Mariposa Yosemite presents the documentary, “Veterans’ Unforgotten Memories.”  A celebration of our nation’s veterans, this emotional film features 37 local World War II to present day veterans from Fresno, Madera, Mariposa, Merced, and Oakhurst sharing their memories of being in the military. Their trials and triumphs and the lessons they learned from life. Through the courtesy of the National Archives, the actual battle footage from many of their stories are included in the film.  

The documentary includes writer Samuel Hill, author of “Six Days to Zeus: Alive Day,” sharing his life story and the challenges today’s soldiers face. 

"Veterans’ Unforgotten Memories” premiers on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at the Mariposa County High School Auditorium in 5074 Old Hwy N. in historic Mariposa, California. Screenings at 2:00 P.M., 4:30 P.M., and 7:00 P.M.

Tickets are $10 and benefit the Mariposa Rotary Fund which is a 501 (c) (3 and are available online at  MariposaRotary.org.  (No service fees will be charged.)
