January 19, 2023 - The Mariposa County Sheriff’s Foundation is holding their 1st Annual Fundraiser Gala on Saturday, February 25, 2023. The event will open at 6:00 P.M. at the Mariposa Fairgrounds, in Building A, located at 5007 Fairgrounds Road.
Join us as we honor our local law enforcement heroes with dinner, drinks, and silent auction.
Tickets are $100 per person, with a hosted bar. Tickets are available at Sierra Supply, Twiss Realty, 1850, and at www.mariposacsf.org.
The Mariposa County Sheriff’s Foundation was established February 2022 to provide a mechanism for others to contribute equipment, training, education and aid for the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office, employees, their families, prospective employees and for community support.
The Foundation is a non-profit 501-C (3) organization, made up of 11 volunteer board members.
Even being a new Foundation, they recently got donations of $45,000 and were able to give money to several families that lost their homes during the Oak Fire. They also gave turkeys to families at Thanksgivings in conjunction with Mariposa Safe Families.
Being a new organization, they are always looking for ways to earn money to fund the foundation for the betterment of our community and Sheriff’s Office.
