14th Annual SIERRA ART TRAILS Yosemite Foothills Open Studio Tour

The Sierra Art Trails Yosemite Foothills Open Studio Tour takes place in homes, studios, galleries, and businesses in more than a dozen communities in Eastern Madera and Mariposa Counties. The show is the largest annual art event in the area, featuring painting, photography, jewelry, sculpture, fiber arts, woodcarving, ceramics, glass, and more! The price of admission for Sierra Art Trails is $20.00, and includes the annual tour catalog, which acts as a "ticket for two" for the event. The spiral bound, full color catalog includes provocative articles. and special features, a list of artists and their viewing locations, and detailed maps to get you there.

The Sierra Art Trails Preview Exhibit is held annually at Stellar Gallery in Oakhurst. The Preview Exhibit includes representative work by all artists participating in the Open Studio Tour. Viewing the preview exhibit is a great way to plan your weekend, discover the work that you most want to see, and plan your route to the studios you want to visit.
The Preview Exhibit opened September 3rd at Stellar Gallery in Oakhurst, and there will be a gala reception on Saturday, September 10th. The Preview Exhibit is open to the public daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (closed on Tuesdays), from September 3rd through the Art Trails weekend. Sierra Art Trails is a 501c4 Non-profit corporation dedicated to supporting working artists and artisans by promoting and showcasing their work. Each year, our organization produces the annual Yosemite Foothills Open Studio Tour, and a number of other unique art exhibits and art related events.
Sierra Art Trails also raises funds for public arts, awards for artists, schools, community organizations, and a unique student sponsorship program. Through these activities we seek to educate the public about the importance of the arts in our lives, and the role that artists play in building and maintaining a vibrant culture and a thriving creative community.
