September 13, 2021 - Los Banos, CA - On September 11, 2021, at approximately 12:30 A.M., Merced County Sheriff’s Deputy Angel Casas conducted a vehicle stop on a Dodge Pick-up truck in the area of Nantes Avenue and Henry Miller Road in the Los Banos Area.

During the vehicle stop, Deputy Casas located about 12 1/2 pounds of Marijuana, a large amount of cash, a scale, and several small plastic baggies.

Both Occupants of the vehicle, 33-year-old Jose Vargas-Fuentes and 29-year-old Javier Medina, were arrested for possession of marijuana for sale.
