September 14, 2021 - On September 8, 2021, at approximately 7:04 P.M., ACSO dispatch received multiple calls of gunshots heard in the 21000 block of Homestead Road in Pine Grove. Ultimately the 
Sheriff’s Office located three deceased people at the residence.
The investigation has shown that this incident started as a family dispute between a father and his son. Autopsies and notification of family members have been completed.
The two homicide victims have been identified as 75-year-old William Henry Dyer Sr. and 77-year-old female Cheryl Dyer.
The manner of death for 46-year-old William Henry Dyer Jr. has been deemed a suicide.
