February 24, 2023 - Los Angeles County Sheriff Department officials report on Saturday, February 18, 2023, Los Angeles County Homicide investigators were called out to assist the South Pasadena Police Department in the death of a six-month-old male. The Infant was pronounced deceased at the Ronald Reagan Memorial Hospital.

The Infant was a victim of severe child abuse in South Pasadena on Sunday, September 25, 2022, wherein South Pasadena Police Officers responded to the 300 Block of Grace Drive for a newborn baby not breathing call.

Officers and Fire Department personnel found the Infant non-responsive. Life-saving measures were attempted at the scene. The infant victim was transported to a local hospital, then airlifted to the Ronald Reagan Memorial Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition until his death.
