April 6, 2023 - Lassen County Sheriff’s Office officials report that detectives from the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office have been working with Investigators from the Fairfield Police Department to determine the whereabouts of Milton O’Neal. O’Neal is wanted out of Solano County for Murder and Domestic Violence. Fairfield Police Department Investigators provided pictures and a physical description of O’Neal to Detectives from the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office. Information was developed that O’Neal may have been hiding in Lassen County in order to avoid arrest.

On the evening of Monday, April 3, 2023, Deputies from the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office responded to assist for a medical aid type call at a residence in Herlong, Ca.

Upon arrival, the Deputy contacted an individual that matched O’Neal’s description. O’Neal provided the Deputy with a false name and date of birth. The Deputy detained O’Neal and was able to positively identify him shortly there-after.

O’Neal was placed under arrest without incident and transported to the Lassen County Jail. O’Neal was booked for 2 separate Solano County warrants with the following charges:

187(a) PC- Murder

273.5(a) PC- Corporal Injury to spouse.

O’Neal is being held in custody without bail.
