Saturday Morning Update: Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Homicide Detectives are advising murder suspect Miguel Angel Zavaleta was arrested today, Saturday, April 22, 2023 at approximately 3:00 AM on the 2500 block of Clarendon Avenue in the city of Huntington Park.  He was arrested by Huntington Park Police Department Patrol Officers.  

This investigation is on-going and there is no additional information available for release at this time. 


April 22, 2023 - Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department officials report that L.A. County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau are attempting to locate Miguel Angel Zavaleta, as he is a suspect in a homicide that occurred on Friday, April 21, 2023, at approximately 12:30 A.M. on the 5600 block of Pacific Blvd. in the city of Huntington Park.

Miguel Angel Zavaleta is a Hispanic male, is approximately 29-year-old, 5’11”, 220 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Miguel Zavaleta is well known to frequent the Huntington Park area.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of Zavaleta to contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500 or contact Crime Stoppers to remain anonymous.
