April 30, 2023 - San Bernardino County Sheriff Department officials report that on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, deputies from the Central Detention Center conducted a search of a housing unit inside the facility. Deputy Francisco Lopez located a metal shank with a makeshift handle and sheath concealed inside of a commissary bag.

Through investigation, Lopez identified the suspect as Alexander Luna.  Luna will be supplementally booked for possession of a deadly weapon in a custodial facility.
