At Northeastern Division, a stolen electric bike recently set off a chain of events that led to an important arrest in our community. After a resident discovered their bike was missing, they utilized the built-in tracking technology to locate it. This information was handed to our vigilant Northeastern Division officers, who responded promptly.

On arrival at the identified residence, officers found the stolen bike and a person on parole possessing a stolen shotgun and illegal drugs. The proactive response of a single citizen, in conjunction with the swift action of our officers, turned what seemed like a minor theft into a significant bust, underlining the power of community vigilance. This incident serves as a reminder that each of us has a role in maintaining the safety and security of our society.
