When Your Luck Runs Out 

September 11, 2023 - San Bernardino Police Department officials report that a parking enforcement officer called via radio for assistance after a vehicle owner attempted to escape with his car before it could be loaded onto a tow truck.

Motor officers observed the vehicle driving at a high rate of speed and attempted a traffic stop, but the driver continued to flee with officers chasing him. The driver subsequently crashed the vehicle into a fence and fled on foot. Officers gave chase and took him into custody a short time later.

The driver was arrested for felony charges, and his vehicle was towed.
