Project Safe Neighborhood 

November 28, 2023 - San Bernardino Police Department officials report that recently, Western District Resource Officers conducted proactive enforcement under the Project Safe Neighborhood grant, targeting high-crime areas. Officers observed a subject walking on foot in the area of 7^th Street and Garner Avenue. Officers contacted the subject and through further investigation, a loaded firearm was located on his person.

He was arrested for felony charges and found to be a local gang member.
