Robbery Suspect Arrested 

January 11, 2024 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on January 9, 2024, at 3:34 P.M., deputies from the Moreno Valley Station RCSO Solisresponded to a parking lot in the 26600 block of Dracaea Avenue, to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed that a male victim was confronted by an adult male suspect, who threatened him, demanded his jewelry while brandishing a firearm, and then fled the location in a vehicle. The victim was able to obtain a license plate from the suspect vehicle as it drove away.

An area check was conducted and the vehicle was located in the 13600 block of Stockbrook Road. The suspect was found nearby and was still in possession of the victim’s property. The suspect was positively identified as Angel Solis, an 18-year-old resident of Moreno Valley. Solis was arrested for robbery, possession of a concealed weapon in a vehicle, possession of a loaded firearm, and possession of an unregistered firearm.  He is being held at the Robert Presley Detention Center in lieu of $30,000 bail.
