Suspect Wanted for Felony Batter is Arrested
February 17, 2024 - Los Angeles, CA - Los Angeles Police Department officials report that the Transit Services Division detectives are announcing the arrest of a male suspect that was wanted for an unprovoked battery on the Metropolitan Transportation Authority System.
On February 15, 2024, around 7:30 a.m., a male suspect was walking on the platform of the Little Tokyo train station. The suspect approached a female Metro ambassador and, without provocation, punched her in the face. The victim sustained a swollen cheek and chipped tooth. She was treated at a local hospital and later released.
Los Angeles Police Department's Transit Services Division officers immediately began searching for the suspect. Around 4:00 p.m. officers observed the suspect walking in the area of 5th Street and Olive Street. The suspect was wearing the same unique clothing. The suspect is identified as 30-year-old Peter Pedroche (30). Charge: 243(d) - PC Felony Battery, Booking #6762584, with a bail amount of $50,000.
