February 25, 2024 - Imperial County Sheriff's Office officials report that on February 19, 2024, Presidents Day holiday weekend, ICSO Deputies responded to a vehicle accident, two vehicles collided head on and one vehicle landed into a canal with water at waist level.

Upon arrival one female subject was stuck inside the vehicle and Deputies attempted to get her out. EMS and fire arrived on scene and took over. The female subject was safely removed from the vehicle. Deputies continued assisting on scene with traffic control.
